What a great distribution. A core of NY, NJ, PA, FL, and GA is perfect for us - would love to see a few more OH kids as well, although this year's duo are bona fide blue chippers. Sprinkle in a bit of New England, the midwest, and wherever else we can find a special case kid (Clark, Dungey, etc.).

GA is the big surprise. We've gone from being an afterthought there to a legitimate school of interest for prospects who will be solid contributors for us.

I figure Georgia can more than make up for anything we might lose in South Florida over MacDonald. We're going to get 2nd tier kids either way and the Georgia kids can ball.

I like that distribution. Could help make up for getting out of South Florida.

I'm kind of hoping Moreland has Georgia as his main recruiting area. We seem to get a lot of interest from kids down there, and I would like to see it emphasized more.
Hopefully he has some established connections down south.

Who are the 2 from Connecticut? I know Guidice is really from NJ so maybe he should be reclassed. Awesome seeing Jersey on top but a bit concerned that our south florida numbers will fall off, especially after listening to HCSS's presser.

'Cuse should definitely continue their focus on the state of Georgia. It produces the 4th highest number of DI players each season behind, Texas, California and Florida. Great quality football all over the state. Only two major programs in-state. The neighboring state schools go hard in Georgia, but it doesn't get as much as attention from out of region schools as the big 3 states. Although I'm noticing that starting to change the last few years as colleges nationwide are starting to realize the quality and quantity of players in GA. Most people down here know 'Cuse cause either they're a northern transplant residing in the metro Atlanta area, or because of the basketball program. Familiarity will continue to grow having Tech on the schedule.

4 – New Jersey - Must be Rutgers pulled their offers

3 – Florida - No northern school will ever get these kids

3 – Georgia - No southern kid will ever play in the snow

3 – New York - New York kids don't know football

3 – Pennsylvania - Rutgers must have pulled their offers, too.

2 – Connecticut - No football players in the North

2 – Illinois - Anybody would be happy to leave the midwest.

2 - Ohio - Yup, you guessed it, Rutgers pulled their offers, too.

1 – Alabama - See Florida and Georgia.

1 – Massachusetts - See NY and Conn.

1 – Oregon - Must have gotten lost.

Just wanted to get the standard excuses out of the way so we can move on and watch these fine young men grow into our Orange! Welcome to the Syracuse Orange family. I hope you enjoy your stay, earn your degree and smash every one of these excuses in our opponents faces!

I am excited about this class and expect good things to happen this fall and over the next few years. I am ready for September. Only 7 months away!

Just thinking about how losing kelly sucked. Hopefully whitner turns out to be a player.
