Witch hunt in the middle of a pandemic? Huh, that's a peculiar response to my post as I was simply presenting the facts relative to his win/loss percentages and where he likely ranks regarding those objective stats. The OP is somewhat subjective, so anyone can choose what they see fit as the reasons, excuses, etc., as to why it is what it is. I don't disagree with you in your view that all these schools aren't on equal ground and harder to win at other schools, specifically like Syracuse as I believe you're implying. However, Syracuse (very fortunately) was gifted ACC membership, and with that, the winfall and ensuing privileges afforded to it because of P5 inclusion/standing. It's difficult to use the $$$ argument any longer as the reason for SU's position or plight. I'm sure there are numerous schools (G5 and the like) that wished they had that particular problem and all that excess dough to burn, meanwhile somehow still being competitive and not a laughing stock on the field. My expectation, as others here, is fielding a competitive team annually that finishes somewhere in the 7-5, 6-6 area. I don't believe that's a bar that shouldn't be able to be reasonably attained based upon the resources available and that the ACC, outside of Clemson, is typically pretty mediocre. Also, with general mediocrity of the conference being the case, the occasional season that yields that wonderful 10-3 mark of '18 or similar. In regards to your "Guy has one of the 6 seasons in SU history with 10 wins" comment; to that, I would say it was spectacular. However, since we are in year 5 now, combined with his other 4 seasons to date, that that year appears to be an outlier. Dino is paid quite handsomely, I believe I read here in the realm of $4 mil/yr. with that extension. He needs to earn his pay, and by that, that is winning more games then he loses IMO. He's got a lot of work to do in that regard. With Dino only being a head coach of 9 years in total, 5 of them at Syracuse, he needs to stop talking the talk when he hasn't proven he can consistently walk the walk.
