Where does Syracuse football's 2019 class stand after landing 6 commits in 12 days?

I say TBD... probably keeps Cuse in contention to finish around #50-60. This might be a smaller class so I doubt it gets in the top 50 unless he finishes really strong.

right now according two at least one service we are like 85th about 40 places behind the next to the last ranked recruting class in the conference which they have at Georgia Tech at 46 and they have like 9 teams in the conference inside the top 30 but with may more recruits

lack of commitments do that

That seems like volume not quality. The pickup in recruiting seems apparent w the offers alone. Alot of this recruiting game seems to be a beauty pageant-esque. If we do better on the field, our offers will seem better and in turn the guys we recruit will be higher ranked. If Alabama is chasing a kid in the northeast i bet that kid is automatically assumed to be a higher ranked guy.

Maybe i'm completely wrong but it feels like perception is reality w this stuff (not an expert by no means)

It's good news for us that our competition schools have so many committed kids at this point. We're battling for some really good kids and the sooner these schools fill up the better for us.

Clemson 18

I keep hearing "small class" and I'm not sure why. I think when said and done we'll be around 23-25 for this class.
Agree. Can do the math on graduating seniors, plus a factor for attrition, and get to 23 easily. Only way it is a small class is if attrition is much lower than normal in Babers' 3rd season.

I think it's because we should be at a full 85 (finally) with only 12 scholarship seniors.

This class will have the most flips to us based on where we are post Summer versus the first two.

I smell the coaching staff rolling the dice on offers to high stats then those who Camp. Campers always prioritize.

Not worried where we are now. This is the year where the year matters.

I think we need to get off to a good start this season. If we can beat Florida State in week three, I think we will have a very solid class. I think we have a pretty decent shot up here in the Dome, with their uncertainty at QB and left tackle. Really glad we get them early.
