over a bad call at the end of the Marquette game in last year's tournament? I don't get it.

We weren't a 16 seed and Marquette wasn't a 1 seed? :noidea:
Honestly, the only way we get any sympathy from being on the short end of a call is if it's the regional finals vs Duke or something.

After the obviously correct lane violation, the partisan crowd was just foaming at the mouth to erupt over the slightest marginal call that went our way. They got their excuse which sets off a chain reaction of Reggie Miller being an idiot to a full postgame investigation. I honestly think none of that ever happens if it's a Carolina team playing in Greensboro.
Did the Buffalo games a couple yrs ago have lots of empty seats or what? We need to get 1st weekend games in upstate NY every year.

Or the end of the half call, after 38 replays Reggie couldn't figure out that Triche was fouled with 1+ second on the shot clock, but he can scream about a bad call (that was a right call) for an hour.

The Triche out of bounds one is still iffy, but it was his 10 minute tirade that made it seem like UNCA was cheated, when they were not.

Plus...there was no bigger gift than the out of bounds play off Triche.

I disagree with that. The waved off foul to end the first half was horrible. That call was blown, plain and simple. And yet there was no discussion, no analysis, no outrage. Pretty big gift to end the half, IMO.

Please...let's stop complaining about the officials and the media.
It makes us sound like a bunch of loser whiners (hmmm...a little like a certain coach back in the day).

The bottom line is...UNC-A played their hearts out.
This article has it right.
THEY left it all on the court.
Did we?

If you are going to allow contact like that against BT, you aren't playing basketball anymore.
