I personally find that somewhat annoying as well, but to each their own.

We're now living in a world now where you can ask a kid what they want to be when they grow up and some will say "I want to be famous."

That is now a goal.  How or why they become famous is immaterial.

It goes against everything a school stands for... come here and learn things and go into the world professionally and use your learning... earn money, reputation, and notoriety based on what you learned here and the career value you build.

i.e. They just don't like how AW rolls and tries to get notoriety and become famous through relentless public hobnobbing with celebrities (and funding athletes along the way, of course.)

It may be as simple as that.

That said, I hope Kent and friends enjoy seeing the Kardashians in the stands next year with La La, LOL.
