Didn't see Broyld at all. Saw Spruill on the field but his name wasn't mentioned once during the game. He's usually good for a few big hits every game

Well Spruill was mentioned, so you're wrong there. But yes, Broyld was wholly absent.

Spruill was out there. He plays Sam so if he is doing his job you actually shouldn't hear his name. Thought he was solid. For the lbs dyshawn had a good game. Great fills against the run. Better game for diabate also. Cam is a nice blitzer. Thought his play in the second half was great, esp w blitz timing.

Spruill was fine tonight. He was more than adequate.

All I will say is...WE WON! Good enough for me.

Marrone said in the press conference when asked about Broyld that he plays the best players that give him the chance to win. So he isn't injured and it wasn't discipline.

With this pathetic offense not sure how he can justify sitting a guy who could maybe give ya a spark. He should have played a few plays at least. Especially since the offense was terrible tonight.

Don't get Marrone at times, this is one of those time. He got the win, so at the end of the day does it really matter? No. But still a head scratching choice not to play a healthy Broyld at all.

Is broyld hurt or in trouble?

Somebody in the game chat mentioned that Broyld might have gotten hurt this week. I have no info to confirm / deny that beyond that, just pointing out that someone brought it up. If so, that might have been why he didn't play.

I heard that he said "best available players". If so it could mean that Broyld wasn't available.

Broyld was there--had his helmet on for a while like he was ready to go in. Obviously he didn't. Maybe in the doghouse from last week?
