Apologize to OX, as I know this was posted in the thread about SU pro day, but when I watch this video I see a super fluid athlete in Julian Whigham. He is so smooth through the the drills. Man I really wish he could have figured it out on Saturdays. I imagine he had some fantastic practices that left the coaches baffled by his costly mental mistakes on gameday.

maybe it was coaching :noidea:
Phat you are spot on. Having played college bball for a hall of fame coach i can tell you that coaching makes a huge diff. My two cents is that when Shaf was elevated to HC our D suffered as he couldnt focus on just that side of the ball. Really looking forward to what this staff can do not just on O but also on D

As a Freshman, thought he'd be great for us. Big hands, good size, good athlete.

I agree, 4 years ago he made some great plays in the spring game showing athleticism and a nose for the ball. His regression over 4 years is mind-boggling. He will have great measureables, but his game tape will probably keep him from getting a real look.

He was quite literally never the same player again after the FSU injury. Truly a shame.

I think we will get the answer very quickly this season and I think your point will be validated. This staff is very solid and I think it will show in virtually every room except perhaps D Line.

I'm just glad his knee wasn't shredded since he was last seen on the field with crutches. Was really concerned, but after the BC game, it wasn't like there wasn't a need for an injury report.
