That actually makes it WORSE for me, given how I loathe Notre Dame! But I agree with your point--we hung with a top 10 team. Last year, we played two top 10 teams and got the doors blown off both times. Here's hoping it is a sign of tangible progress--it was a good measuring stick, demonstrating that we've made some important progress, but still have a ways to go to claw our way back into top 25 contention.
