ha! thats right. That game in AC was also when New Jersey was annexed into the Otto-man empire.
I remember very well when Michigan came to the dome in the late 80s - i'm thinking 87 but can't find a citation. They had Gary Grant, Rumeal Robinson, Loy Vaught, and Glen Rice. Pretty intimidating, complete team. Gotta think either that team or ours that year would be an overwhelming wire-to-wire favorite to win the NC.
We lost that game. Doubly harsh, as i had a high school friend visiting for that weekend.
legends classic in atlantic city, thanksgiving weekend 2010. that was a fun weekend. pretty crappy game, remember scoop hitting a late 3 in the corner to ice it.
maybe Atlantic City wasn't the best place to take your daughterI was there with wife and daughter! The bad part is I was sitting in back of a drunk and obnoxious girl who went to SU. It wasn't the best thing for my 2 yr old daughter!
