[QUOTE="JeremyCuse, post: 1303366, member: 43"] Most of the D is back next year though, Mullins, Grimm, Tait, McDermott, D'agostino, Hill, Ciferi, Gillis, etc. Big loss is obviously Young and Wardwell and Messina to an extent. SU has a lot of young pole guys who can step in next year including a Sr in Palasek, Chavez, (highly rated), Wenham etc. D short mid should be in good shape with Grimm, Gillis (pretty sure he has been playing SSDM I could be wrong though), Ciferri, Schmitt? and a few others. The bigger concerns is obviously the offense. Syracuse loses 5 of its top 6 offensive starters including the entire starting mid field. Would be nice if Lecky or Schoonie had another year to help bridge the gap next year but what can you do. I am assuming Desko will move Evans back to attack to team with Donahue. That leaves one spot open. Initial thought is to move Barber there but we will need some veteran leadership on the mid line so I think he stays there. Syracuse brings in some highly regarded offensive players next year including Voight, O'Sullivan, the kid from Georgia etc. Not to mention guys like Thorpe who are redshirting this year and other young guys like Mcginley, Simmons, Jeff Desko, Forkin etc. Will also be interesting to see if Desko hits up OCC again for some instant offense.
