Watched a few minutes of the Nets game ( yes, really bored) and recall that game vs Griffin. Cuse had no answer. What he wanted, he got. It was like me playing against my 7 year old grandson, only worse. He only had 30 and 14 but he could have had 40 and 20. I counter these thoughts with how Cuse destroyed Hardin- that was a delight.

I do. Jonny got hurt in that game, played on but was banged up

I remember the dude with the long sleeve shirt hitting like 20 3s.
Tony Crocker. 6-11 from 3.

And people complaining about JB's short bench - take a look at this box. All 5 starters for OU played at least 33 minutes (and that was Blake Griffin). The others were 36, 37, 37, and 38.

That game was not nearly as close as the score suggested. We were down by nearly 30 at one point in the second half.

no recollection of any such game.

Was amped for that game. Quickly drown my sorrows in light ales on Upper West Side.

He wrecked us. Just tore us up. IMO better job than when the Admiral crushed us in the ncaas at the dome.

I remember Griffin scoring at will without forcing .any shots. He was patient.

Thanks for that! :vomit:

Crocker was a guy we wanted to shoot. And he made us pay.

was like a grown man against kindergarteners...rare extreme mismatch for the cuse...hard to watch

Flynn was a warrior but in that game he tried to hot dog a dunk on a breakaway when we were on a brief run and clanked it. Game was over but that didn't help.

I just found the clip after mentioning it in another thread and it was worse than I remembered. Summed up that team perfectly for me.

Like, come on, guy...there's such a thing as left-handed layups. And they're worth two points, about exactly as much as dunks.
