176 yards behind Chris Gedney
160 yards behind Qadry Ismail
149 yards behind Tommy Kane
56 yards behind David Tyree
46 yards behind Van Chew
31 yards behind Jared Jones
28 yards behind Tony Gabriel

incredible

it would be nice if he could do it next week

And Veley announces it with each catch.

Would be good if he gets to say, 145 yards. And then catches a 40 yard TD.

And with that reception, Amba Etta-Tawo has passed Tommy Kane, Qadry Ismail and Chris Gedney on the all time SU receiving yards list.

Crowd goes silent... wut??

he's in a similar spot in TD.

corey coleman's 20 TD year at baylor last year would put him tied for second in career TDs with Marvin Harrison (Rob moore has 22 in first place)

what if he catches a 57 yard pass in the end zone? Hmmmmm?!?

He would still catch Gabriel next as he is the next logically in line .. he would then subsequently catch Jones, Chew and then Tyree on said catch. You said who would he catch next ... Gabriel will be caught next even in that circumstance, the others would also be caught on that play.

If he averages 166 yards per game the rest of the way he will be tied for 10th* all time. He should go for 150+ vs the bad pass Ds of NC State and Pitt. However he won't go for much more than 100 vs FSU. It could be close.

*I assume that Ishmael will stay ahead of ET.

Assuming your data is correct, I believe the answer to your question is Tony Gabriel.

What happens when you pass 2 players on the same catch? Odd are that will be how it occurs between at least Gabriel and Jared Jones. Possibly even Van Chew and/or Tyree.

My gut reaction in that scenario would be that the "next person" would be the 1 with the most yards.

And with that reception, Amba Etta-Tawo has passed Tommy Kane, Qadry Ismail and Chris Gedney on the all time SU receiving yards list.

Veley would be devastated that he was cheated out of the opportunity to do more talking.
