I agree with the "perfect world" scenario.  Buddy would be phenomenal in that role - great shooter, plays smart, great free throw shooter.  He's not that though and I suspect he never will assume that role, but I suppose that remains to be seen.  I think he's perfectly suited for it.

7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 steals and same assist numbers, are pretty okay numbers for me.   He can finish at the rim, can get down court on a break - plenty of things that don't show up in box scores, but I will always argue impact a game - because athleticism.

Neither is much of a ball handler - neither was turnover prone.  But watch YT highlights of JSouth on a break...then think of what happens when Buddy has been on a break.  It's a fairly noticeable difference when you see defenders in pursuit......I don't see that changing, as I just don't think foot speed is something you develop....he's slow.  He'll remain slow.  He's just not a very fluid athlete.
