- Because they ran right through us last year and now they can pass right over us, too.
- We are now Losing the turnover battles. Our only experienced quarterback is a turnover machine with 7 in the last two games and they took us right out of games we still had a chance to win. Meanwhile our two most experienced defensive backs, All-American Andre Cisco and Trill Williams, have shut their careers here down to get over injuries and prepare for the draft.
- We are a beat-up, beaten down team which is just as good as it’s 1-6 record.
- Boston College just almost beat Clemson, in a much more competitive game than the one we had with them. They led 28-13 at halftime.
- BC had the 125th best defense in BCS last year, (although in our game it looked like we did). This year they have improved to 53rd.
- View the films of the Wake Forest game, the Eagles will have a sense of de ja vu. Last year’s game was broken open with a quarter, 9the second),, in which everything went right for them and wrong for us. The same thing happened with the Deacons, except it was the third. We can compete for three quarters but can’t overcome a bad one. We don’t have the offense to do it.
