- They are the #1 team in the country. We…aren’t.
- This will not be the LSU game. We haven’t won three in a row. We’ve lost 6 in a row. Our confidence level has declined and you can see it in the decreased effort of the team vs. Louisville.
- LSU, (like Nebraska in ’84) was a team that met you at the point of attack and knocked you over. If you are going to pull off an upset- or even remain competitive against a highly ranked team, your best chance is against a team like that. Clemson wants to spread you out and make you cover bigger, faster, stronger people on an island. When they were here two years ago, they could score whenever they wanted to. Just drop back and lob it to a wide-open receiver streaking down the field. (We actually had a pretty good defense then, or so we thought. We don’t think that this year.) That’s what they are going to do today. It will be over by halftime.
- Which is worse? Our defense against their offense or our offense vs. their defense? That’s’ the real contest.
- The Orange will be dressed all in blue. We’re going to look like “blue man crew”
