Lol.
Agree. Gave them a free shot for the tie
Don’t foul. Just be in their facejb doesnt risk a foul on rebound
jb doesnt risk a foul on rebound
Instead of giving a step inside half court heave, you’d rather give Clemson a chance to make the 1st and rebound a missed FT for a put back or potential game winning 3? Really? They offensive rebounded a missed FT with one guy to our four earlier in the gameIf Marek makes the second to put us up 4, you simply back everyone away. If Marek misses, the ball might just bounce right to us, or at the least it's harder to corral. The worst that happens is there is a foul grabbing the ball, which puts them to the line for 2 shots, under 2 seconds, when we are up 3, which is the right strategy anyway.

Sorry, I misread your quote, you said the worst option is a foul, not intentionally foul. My badSo you are assuming that we foul on the miss?
We have a 3 point lead with 2 seconds left. Contest the rebound. If we foul so what, they don't get to shoot a 3.jb doesnt risk a foul on rebound
You are correct and that is why there was no one at the foul line. If you could count on your players not to do something dumb, sure. If you could count on the refs to not call something dumb, sure. You can't in both cases.Instead of giving a step inside half court heave, you’d rather give Clemson a chance to make the 1st and rebound a missed FT for a put back or potential game winning 3? Since 1981, no one on the lane in that situation. You new?Lol.
And, many other coaches have since followed the example.Since 1981, no one on the lane in that situation. You new?
You don't even need the guy on the line to even make a run to the ball. Have him run right off the line if you want the second the shooter releases it. The point is, when the miss happens the opponent can just let it bounce a few times with no time coming off. That's what happened and it led to a shot that almost banked in. I don't care how far it was from.
Noon a miss the clock starts immediately
"Miss" and "contact" are usually separated by a tenth of a second.the clock starts on contact not immediately
And an SU player on the lane would have affected this how?well in this case the rebound hit the floor 1-2 times before the clock started.
