How the bleep could Goodell NOT know? BTW, the NFL has loads of Columbos...especially in the NY and Philly markets precisely BECAUSE of the proximity to the casinos. We're talking former FBI guys.

I'm thinking more and more that there was a cover-up and Goodell has gotten caught up in the middle of it.

One more point...the violence inherent in football is hard to turn off and on. As such, I think that its players are more likely to engage in this sort of behavior than in other sports. And that doesn't include those who have suffered brain damage and subsequently act out.

This story and its larger ramifications are not going away. We're closer to the beginning than the end.
