Founded in 2020 by West Genesee (N.Y.) teammates and, respectively, Syracuse and St. Rose lacrosse alums Luke Cometti and Joe Pompo, Get Reps and its premier product, the R1 Smart Lacrosse Ball, uses Bluetooth Low-Energy communication protocol to launch lacrosse farther into the Internet of Things realm. The R1 can pair with your phone to geolocate and measure many different aspects of its movement, allowing a user to do things like track wallball reps and shot speed.

Counting wall ball reps does not sound like a game changer, but if it can track shot speed without a complicated set up that would be pretty cool! Would be great to easily measure shot speed when you are playing on your own and/or don't have a radar gun. Fun video and not surprising Ward won the wall-ball competition
