CJ has a very confident jumper from the  corners which helps this team spread the floor, adds a scoring threat in the corners that you can't leave open, and helps our ball movement. JB always puts the senior forwards further away from the basket, its part of how you grow as a forward at syracuse. A position like that is a isolation basket, and Grant blowsby straightline better from the middle of the floor, and finishes a inch or two taller at the rim even with CJ havig a pullup that Grant doesn't.

I would like to see us run a play to get cj wide open 1-2 steps right inside the fouline though, as his floater is so light and has a good chance to bounce in, especially if its straight at the rim instead of a 35 degree angle. Running one off something like a Gbinije screen with Gbinije/or Grant rolling backdoor, would be a nice mismatch play to look into.

We saw way to much isolation against miami and a big part of that was all of ennis passing being entry passes, and fair and grant when they received it  had to take the defense one on one every play they never got a step on them before receiving the pass. Miami took away our halfcourt transition offense for the first 15 minutes of the second half and our oustide shots weren't falling on top of it.
