Why isn't ESPN and other media jumping on this

Because the SEC is sweating bullets with what they cover up to keep kids in school. If anyone ever tried a half baked investigation, the SEC could be shut down for decades, worse yet, they could be forced to become academic institutions.

This whole college football thing is starting to get more and more annoying. This whole debacle with Winston and the Auburn Cam Newton and his 800k money deal. I wonder when ESPN is going to go after Mississippi for their recruiting problems (if true) that will be either on the back burner because they are a great story or perfect timing to go after them.

Yep, that's the problem when you're both purportedly a practitioner of journalism and a cheerleader for a mega-million dollar Golden Egg.

BTW, there's only one way to attract elite talent to Mississippi: Pay for it.

Don't worry about this as when Saban finally gets tired of them paying for his recruits he wants he will just call up his old friend,Emmert.....BAM

I guess if you have what may be the highest rated game of the season on deck, FSU/ND, you don't bite the hand that feeds.

To me, that's the real problem. Seems like other media outlets kind of think "this is a sports story, so ESPN" - when ESPN is working at conflicting goals (news/$).
