Why Louisville will win
- Because they are Louisville and we’re just Syracuse. Since we joined the ACC in 2013, we are 38-56 overall and 20-43 in the conference. The Cardinals joined the conference in 2014 and since then they are 45-39 and 28-27. More importantly, they are 5-1 against us and have out-scored us 149-266, (25-44). We just can’t handle their speed
- And we aren’t likely to beat anybody with this offense. We are 123rd, (of 130 teams), in yards gained and 114th in points scored. We are averaging 18 points per game and have scored more than 24 only against Georgia Tech, who gifted us with 5 turnovers and 15 penalties.
- We were out-gained 357-453 in that game, giving up 275 yards on the ground. It would have bene the same as all our other games if the Yellow Jackets hadn’t made so many mistakes. All the same weaknesses were there. We could be looking at 0-11 right now.
- We are missing our two biggest playmakers on the defense, Andre Cisco and Trill Williams. And they aren’t ever coming back. The turnover battle has turned against us. We were +11 through 5 games, (but couldn’t take advent age of it). Since then, we are -8, (and the other teams are taking advent age of it).
- Malik Cunningham is already what Jacobian Morgan it trying to become.
- Javian Hawkins is gone but his three back-ups, Hassan Hall, Maurice Burkley and Jalen Mitchell, average 5.95 yards per carry.
- Tutu Atwell was only averaging 12.5 yards per catch, the guy to watch out for is Dez Fitzpatrick, who’s averaging 19.0 yards per catch.
