I'm sure somebody mentioned this in a different thread, but I haven't see it.

When down two scores, why didn't we kick a field goal right after west's big play down the seam? We need an onside kick anyway. Don't we want to score ASAP and have as much time as possible for score 2?

You have to try and score a TD when you get inside the 10, but you could kick on the 3rd and 22 instead of taking another sack and wasting a good 20-25 seconds.

Clock management is not HCSS strong point.

something in the water. pasqualoni was no clockmeister either.

yes, once they had to waste the TO because of the sack they messed up the rest of the series.

With as many things go wrong for us and no offensive line, I woulda taken points and used all that clock (and TO) going for a td. It's not like a long field goal would have been a sure thing anyway.

If Shafer kicked a FG on 1st and goal at the 9, then I would have recommended he be locked out of the Dome forever. You have to try and score 7 there.

Now we can question why we haven't developed a red zone play to take advantage of Custis' size...

The play that hurt us is PTG couldn't get lined up. They had to waste that TO because of him. He was horrible tonight and hurt us big time with missing seams and running backwards. He looked very off.
