Why do some coaches pre-determine the rotation before the season starts and players are able to prove that they deserve to be starters. I would rather wait and let things play out and let players earn their spot rather than pre-determine positions. As a former college athlete I hated this and still do. I would like to see the coach open up competition and let the better man win. I would rather have the best players on the court at the start of the game to give the team a better chance to win than rely on a bench player to bail me out.
