- Because Doug Marrone has “hit the wall” both emotionally and in terms of what he can pull out of his limited bag of tricks and he has no answers at this point.

- Because Pitt owns us: 24-48, 14-34, 38-31 (OT), 17-34, 11-21, 17-20, 24-34, 10-37, 14-45. It hasn’t mattered where the game is played or who the coach is.

- Because Dave Wannstedt underperformed as a coach, (as always) but was an excellent recruiter and even with some injuries, they just have more talent than we do at every position.

- Because they have one of the best defensive lines we’ll face with 36 sacks. They will in Ryan Nassib’s face the whole game and we all know what the result will be.

- Because they have something we don’t: an adequate kicking and return game, which will ensure them better field position throughout the game, as has been happening over and over this year. We will again have farther to go than our opponents.

- Even if things seem to go our way, we’ll find a way to lose it.

Sorry but you can't "like" a post like that.
I don't know what to make of Marrone's attitude at this point. On the "Syracuse Sidelines" show, he was flat as flat could be. Unfortunately, I don't see the positive thinking that we got even from GROB before his SU team upset ND. You would want the HC to be seeing some rays of hope, progress that the kids are making, something that excites him and should excite us. I understand the realities, but any miracles have to start with the HC's positive thinking.

I didn't "like" making it. But looking at things from both sides keeps me tethered to reality.
