Agree. You have the ball on the 25 with one play left. Can't ask for more in that situation. Got too cute for their own good
 
Ref probably moved his arm too quickly?..or maybe no whistle to indicate a clock start? He's in back of the offense hard to figure that the QB can see him signal the clock start. Weird.
 
Ridiculous. Who knows what might have happened on that last play. If any team is due for a score at the end of regulation on a hail mary of sorts, its the badgers.
 
Was almost as bad as calling that 2nd timeout. Don't let the crowd decide your replays, they don't always know the rule. Very good coach with a couple strange calls today.

Even Herbstreit forgot the rule for a moment, saying "did they start the clock before he snapped the ball". Yes, because when he snaps it has nothing to do with when the clock starts. He realized that after Brent play by played the replay. Wilson took 2 seconds just on the snap count.

Without a friendly clock operator, you're not going to get a spike off in 2 seconds when the clock starts on the ref's signal.
