All,

Feel free to add any tidbits that you've found this week

  1. Pass heavy meets pass dominated: Syracuse as we know likes to throw. Whether it was Kyle or Steve, I don't see a huge shift coming with Rickie. Many of our throws are quick 1-2 readers. Syracuse is completing about 60% of it's passes, but Duke is giving up a 71.5% completion percentage. If Rickie can make throws, I believe in...
  2. The Wide Receiving Room: 5 players in double digits for receptions with 9 receiving touchdowns among the top 4 pass catchers (Villari has yet to score). Touchdowns is a key metric because...
  3. Duke is allowing a score on 93.33% of opponent red zone trips (yes Syracuse is allowing 90%) - so the over might also look lovely. Get to the redzone, walk away with points
  4. Yards per play and Points per play that Duke allows is 6.4 and .516 which is no surprise as they are dead last in the ACC at points allowed per game (32.3) which is roughly 5 points per game more than Syracuse allows
  5. 5 points: Syracuse is currently the underdog anywhere from 5-6 points. Fran Brown is 6-3 in his career not only ATS as an underdog, but also straight up. This will be his 14th total game and he's looking for the hungry dog to eat for the 7th time.
Many more and I truly believe this will be a 3 point game one way or another. I think Duke's defense isn't great against the pass or the run so this could be a shoot out

I really believe a factor no one is taking into account, especially the bookies. This is one of the best overall coaching staffs in the country and getting better every game.
