-          Because Clemson has forgotten that we lost to them by only 10 points with a back-up quarterback two years ago, (and lost by the same margin in their place the year before that).  They have 0-54 in their minds, just as Nebraska remembered that they beat us 7-63 in their place in 1983.

-          Clemson is a running team this year and we have been a good running defense. Our front seven can hold their own with anyone. And with Bryant’s ankle tweaked, they won’t be as good as they have been.

-          Cole Murphy and Sterling Hofrichter will keep them pinned deep.

-          Our short passing game will neutralize their pass rush. We won’t be able to run on them but we haven’t been able to run on anybody, so that won’t make any difference.

-          We are using more people in the passing game and spreading things around more, which will make us harder to defend, even for all the five-stars they’ve got to chase our guys around.

-          Move the chains and watch them start fainting to try to slow us down. Being 340 helps if they are coming right at you but if you get a guy like that running around, he’s going to start wheezing.

-          Eric Dungey will find a way to win this game. Book it.
