Why Syracuse will win

- Because Louisville is just 2-6 and their star running back, Javian Hawkins, has opted out for the season, (and he isn’t coming back, either). Their star receiver, Tutu Atwell, is doubtful for the game. The Cardinals may be without a beak for this one.

- Because the Cardinals are giving up 392 yards a game and have given up 40 points three times: 47 vs. Miami, 46 to Georgia Tech and 42 to Virginia Tech.

- Because Louisville can’t get out of their own way. They are -12 in turnovers, +120 in the country. We don’t have Cisco or Williams but we do have MiKel Jones and Garrett Williams, who have become major playmakers for us.

- Jacobian Morgan will like Louisville’s lack of a pass rush and the fact that they have only 6 turnovers in 8 games.

- Our recent turnover troubles have disguised the fact that this team is actually improving. The offensive line is getting healthier and more experienced. We’ve found a great running back in Sean Tucker and a good one in Cooper Lutz. Jacobian Morgan is still learning but he’s doing it quickly and he can do things Tommy DeVito and Rex Culpepper can’t. The defense, despite the losses has really bene coming together. And we still have that kicking game. I think we’ve bottomed out and are on the way back up. It might be a u-shaped recovery rather than a v-shaped recovery but it’s a recovery.

- Because we’ve bene in every game going into the fourth quarter other than the Wake Forest game and it’s about time we won one.

1-7 and 3(?) to go!

LET’S GO ORANGE!!!

We have a little better depth at OL, and they seem to be improving modestly.

I believe that this is going to be Sean Tucker’s coming out game - 150+ yards rushing and 2 scores.
