- FCS began as Division 1AA in 1978. Since then, we are undefeated against FCS teams: 49-15 over Colgate, 52-6 over Colgate, 30-21 over Northeastern, 41-24 over Maine, 38-14 over Maine, 21-14 over Rhode Island, 28-17 over Stoney Brook, 54-0 over Wagner, 27-26(OT) over Villanova, 47-0 over Rhode Island, 33-7 over Colgate, 50-7 over Central Connecticut, 62-7 over Wagner and 41-3 over Holy Cross. That’s 14-0, outscoring our opponents 573-161, (41-12). Basically, we are Alabama against the FCS. And no, Albany isn’t Villanova.

- Both Tommy and Garrett are better than they showed against Rutgers and we’ll see it in this game. Same for Taj Harris.

- Sean Tucker is as good as he’s showed and will have a big game against Albany – by halftime. Afterwards we’ll finally get to see some of Jarveon Howard and Abdul Adams, who can play as well.

- Our defense is going to overwhelm Albany. They aren’t going anywhere. And that turnover margin isn’t going to last. That’s what will break this one open.

- Our kicking game is also much better than we saw vs. Rutgers, whose punter reminded me of Hofrichter. James Williams will be a fine punter. Trebor Pena is going to take one the distance.

- I hope for a dazzling performance that will put the wind back in our sails. We may not get that, but we’ll be 2-1 driving home. Book it.

1-1 and 10+ to go!

LET’S GO ORANGE!!!

Nice write up Steve, better hope we don't have another Villanova, or there may be no-one there for Liberty.
