This will be the third straight teams we’ve played who doesn’t have many of them. If the other team can’t pressure McCord he and his receivers will pick them apart. Historically, Stanford is famous for their passing attack but they can’t win a shoot-out with us. Our pass defense hasn’t been great but theirs is bad. They haven’t given up a lot of sacks but 17 TFL’s is a lot. It seems strange that we are averaging 136 more yards per game than Stanford but both teams are averaging 34 points a game. I think special teams has something to do with that. This may be the last game we play in which we have an advent age in strength of schedule.
