- Because we picked the right guy.
- We have the 33rd pest offense in the country. They have the 65th best. We have the 26th best defense in the country. They have the 59th best. They have the 70th best rushing defense. Connecticut is #26, even after last week and our line flattened them.
- We are getting better on defense, especially tackling better. And we are getting better on offense, more balanced and taking better care of the ball, which means we can take better advantage of all the yardage we are rolling up. We’re also getting better on special teams, with the punt returns getting stuffed like the kick-off returns and Krautman kicking it high and down the middle.
- USF has lost 5 in a row and 9 of their last 10 Big East games. We are about to find out why.
- The match-ups favor us. They get no pressure on the quarterback so Nassib will be able to pick them apart. Even without Broyld and Moore, (who are back-ups), we should be able to run on them. And our defense will close the ring on Mr. Daniels.
- I smell another blow-out win.
