With Jordan Fredericks, Devonte McFarlane and George Morris, we’ve got the potential to be a squid team. Fredericks and Morris are both averaging 5.8 yards per carry. McFarlane has yet to get going at 3.3 but he’s in the same class. With the move of a now healthy Rob Trudo back to guard and Jason Emerich taking over at center I think we’ve now got the offensive line we need to really get the ground game going. And with the defense worried about Estime, Phillips and Ismael, they should really start chomping. Syracuse is #127. There could be a lot of punting in this game. That plays into our hands. We are #1 in the country in “defensive field position” with 23.6.
