And it was juuuuust enough that Tuck could turn the corner and speed away for the TD.

I can't find the exact play or the timestamp (it was either 2nd or 3rd quarter because they were heading toward the band IIRC), but there was a play around midfield where Shrader handed the ball off to Tucker and Tucker went right, but the play was heading for a loss. Tucker cut back, and Shrader not only blocked the DB in the way, but timed it perfectly to get his hands off of him so he wasn't holding.

Yes -- and you can add a few spares, as White rotates guys in the DL, and we have had to play 2nd team guys at LB and in the secondary. All playing hard. Team effort. It happens most years, but we notice it more when the team wins games.

The time spent at wr turned out to help us in that spot, he was legit good blocking for him

I was thinking the play actually may be designed to cut back the opposite way with Shrader blocking, but not sure on that. Maybe that is a play option depending on defensive alignment.

Agree 100%. Specific play to take advantage of states hard crashing backside DE.
