Unlike most, other than the first couple rounds, I really don't care to see the mid majors do too well in the NCAA. But aside from that, I really dislike the WSU program. First, Marshall is an a******. The fact that he and their fans were elated when we lost last year so they could be the last unbeaten, even though they literally played no one of note all year, is just weak. And today at Gameday one genius fan had a sign that read something to the effect of "31-0 Kentucky: Been there done that." AND THEN YOU LOST TO KENTUCKY!

They just rub me the wrong way.

I don't recall Jim Boeheim going on ESPN and cheering for Wichita State to lose.

I see your point about Marshall. Not a big fan of him at all. But I still cheer for WSU. It's kinda neat having another solid team here in Kansas. It's one of the conference tournaments I really enjoy watching with it being one of the first "big" ones of March. Although it's not quite the same without Creighton.

I'm with you. Can't stand them. Beat some big boys and then talk. Beating up on a bunch of scrubs and puffing their chests isn't getting my respect.

I really enjoy the MVC, and have no issue with NIU. Just the way Wichita acted last year was strange. They were coming off a Final Four and their coach flew to Connecticut and actively cheered for us to lose. I've never seen a coach on TV wanting another team to lose. I'll admit that I enjoy the way they play, and cheered like hell for them against Ohio State in their Elite 8 game.

As far as mid-majors go, watching Georgetown lose to one every year is glorious. I just thought that seeing VCU and Butler in the Final Four was a bit much.
