I'm of the believe that JW is really only making the decision on the Autry firing and the timing of that which is right around the corner now. Basically that wasn't even a JW decision, Autry decided that based on his performance. So really JW is just deciding the actual day and how Autry is let go. The hiring will be a formal search ongoing now with a search committee. Likely JW as well the as the new AD along with new Chancellor input and members of the board.
