Will ESPN save the Big 12 again?

I'm sure that the Worldwide Leader is working furiously (again) to keep Texas, OU, and others from bolting to the Pac-whatever and having all hell break loose with the other BCS conferences. Every conference TV deal that ESPN holds would have to be amended or renegotiated altogether and likewise the ad sales and sponsorships would change. Too much work for (probably) little gains for the network.
