Have TimeWarner for Roadrunner and not TV. Can't watch ESPN3 without being a cable tv subscriber. Hate this crap.

DirecTV in Charlotte, NC not showing a listing for the game.

I will mail you the $10 so I can see the game. Send PM and your address.

Any Charlottean's out there know if Dilworth Neighborhood Grille or other bars shows ESPN3 games on the TV's?

Throw me a bone! PLEASE!!!

Anyone know the deal with Roku? I will go buy one tomorrow if it means I will get to watch all sports?

No. I tried to go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Kannapolis two years ago when Syracuse opened against an FBS team on ESPN 3 and had no luck. You can only watch it online. Fortunely for me work computer has espn3. The bad news is I can't watch it live because their are too many stupid people in this world out on a Friday evening. Oh well.

When I log into ESPN3 it asks for the user name and password for TimeWarner. So I plug them in and it opens the next screen. Then I get an error message to call TimeWarner that the services I have don't allow this function.

Same deal with Roku, you still need to login with a username and password.

Suggestion.
Call Time Warner and start the cable service today. Tell them you're already wired and all that you would need from them is to initiate the service ASAP. You should then be able to use your username/password to watch the game. Then call back tomorrow and cancel if you want to.

I moved from Syracuse in March '96 right before Wallace, Z and our boys lost to Kentucky. I've been fighting the battle of finding my Orange here in Florida for almost 20 years now. Thankfully my Orangebrovas on this site have always tried to provide links to various sites in the past {atdhe, justintv, firstrow, etc.}, but Watch ESPN/ESPN 3 has almost put an end to the problems in the past. It's definitely worth it if you are living out of town. They're even covering Midnight Madness and Spring Games, you really do need this..lol.

i think this is right. you need to subscribe to cable to get espn3. if you have time warner cable and internet, you should be able to watch the game at your house.

another suggestion is orange all access. they used to show the games.

Will the ACC network put an end to all this BS?! Seems as though you have to jump through hoops every Fing time you want to watch a game. Never had this prob before in the Big Least.

Think it has less to do with the ACC and more to do with where things are going via steaming services...

I got a username/password from a friend but watching via ESPN3 is so annoying. 7 games tonight and ours is the only one not televised. Awesome..

That's BS. ESPN3 is dependent on your Internet Service Provider, not your Video Service Provider... but TWC appears to have their own deal. From WikiPedia:
"ESPN3 is available to Time Warner Cable customers only if they have ESPN in their cable TV subscription. Internet-only subscribers do not have access."

Hopefully you'll find a friend in the board that will provide you with the necessary access.

A friend came to the rescue.
