Calling it right now. ACC writers will pick Shipley as 1st team preseason all ACC team as a running back next year. Not because he is even remotely as good as Tucker (obviously) but because of his 5 star ranking, the school he goes too, and the hillbilly head coach he has.

Why is Dabo a hillbilly? Sure, he has a little Roy William's "dadgummitawshucks" country to him, but I wouldn't characterize that as being a hillbilly. He's been pretty gracious in competition with Syracuse, which is more than you can say for our coaches in regards to him.

I like dabo alot but he does have a little Roy dadgummit in him. He's a southern guy. I can't blame him for that.

Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t get that vibe. The players seemed to appreciate it.

In 1987, when we were definitely the little brother to PSU, Paterno came into our locker room after we beat them and told us to “keep the National Championship in the Northeast.” I though that was pretty classy.

I always disliked him a little less after that.
