Winning on the road

It's great for us as fans to watch our team in person and cheer them on to victory. The crowd can play a major factor in how a game turns out.

But there is something special about winning at another team's place and seeing all the stunned looks on the faces of their fans.

F Duke and everything but Rivers draining that 3 at the buzzer to beat UNC last year was awesome. Crowd was crazy into it and then BOOM...silence.

Similar thing with today's game.

Not to mention, a great step on the maturity ladder for our squad. Next time they are in a tough spot on the road, they'll have more confidence about their ability to execute than they might otherwise.

Agreed. And honestly, I'm usually of the mindset of "don't try to dunk it, just get the layup and make sure you get the two points rather than going for flash" in situations like that, but DAMN am I glad that MCW piped that on those two Louisville defenders. Not just a go ahead basket, but one hell of a freaking statement at the same time.

It's too bad JB doesn't challenge the team on the road during the non conf schedule.

Really wish the team could be more prepared for games like this...
