Comments:  We never got a running game established on first down but held our own against the opposition on that down.  We had success with first down passes but most teams do: the defenses are expecting a run. Our passing was poor on second and third down. Overall, we didn’t get steamrolled on defense, (442-451) but gave up some big plays, more than we could generate ourselves.  Maybe the most interesting stat was the fourth down results. We and our opposition tried for it 37 times and were successful 27 of those times . That’s 73%, a stat which suggest it’s worth the gamble if you have a makeable distance.
