Penn state is the one game we’ve had that could have gone either way but the “winning plays” suggest that we didn’t do very well in that game, either, even if the score was close. I remember thinking that it was hard to believe that we are still in this one. That’s important because Penn State has been kind of mediocre since, much as NC State, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Boston College figure to be.
