That young Wisconsin team will likely be national champions 2-3 years from now their guys never leave early or transfer. The 5th year senior was their worst player tonight.

Houston's team is young too and should become extremely good if noone transfers. I'd hire Sampson to replace JB if winning big immediately was goal #1.

That said I don't think we will be hiring a coach post Boeheim. JB 100% guaranteed is going to step down midseason like Bo Ryan did so the AD is forced to fire Red or Gerry if they want to hire someone outside of the program.

I have never heard JB say any such thing. I'm not saying he won't. But I don't think he would ever leave mid season. Ever. Unless it was health related. He will push for one of his ass'ts no doubt. But I don't think he would pull a stunt like that. When he leaves, he will talk with JW in advance and he will know where his ass'ts stand.
