with duke/unc moved to the 20th

how will duke come out of a huge rivalry game on short rest? i was intrigued to see the new date for the game as to how it may affect them.

I think Duke's bigger problem will be not looking past that little neighborhood school when their new big bad rival is on their way into town.

IMHO, the games are still 2 days apart (like a Sat and Mon game - happens all the time), and Duke has to travel all of 8 miles. Coach K will probably make them hoof it, double time, like the Army player he used to be.

Unless someone gets hurt, God forbid, it won't make much difference. Either way, we will need our "A" game for that, and frankly, for every game here on out. Everyone will REALLY be gunning for us now.

Well it's not going to "help" them thats for sure. Only one day to make adjustments from the first game. We have 2 days at least.

Playing your lifelong hated rival and then have the #1 team in the nation coming to town two days later will have some impact. Add to that playing your 4th game in 8 days.

Is it enough of an impact that we definitively win? Of course not. But it only helps us (to whatever degree) and hurts them (to whatever degree). Anyone who believes it has no impact is kidding themselves.

ESPN explodes over ratings. And the ratings should be great for both of those contests.
