Photos, Reaction: No. 6 Boston Colleges Hands No. 2 Syracuse 10-9 Decision (IL)

Boston College topped Syracuse University, 10-9, on Saturday afternoon in Carrier Dome action. The win marked the first time in program history that the Eagles have defeated the Orange, as Caroline Margolis’ four goal outburst sealed the Orange’s fate.

The win is Boston College’s fourth consecutive victory of the season, as Acacia Walker’s team improves to 4-0 on the year. This is Syracuse’s first loss of the season, dropping the Orange to 5-1.

Here’s eight things we learned from today’s 10-9 Boston College win over Syracuse:

WOW, Wow, wow...BC took Treanor completely out of the game. Yikes! Here's where not having a fearsome 2nd option is going to bite this team in the butt.

Also, Kempney is great at the draw. But, if she gets matched up with a really big girl who is good, she's toast.
