For the 12th consecutive week, No. 1 Maryland sits atop the Media Poll. The undefeated Terps claimed inaugural Big Ten regular season bragging rights last week after topping No. 7 Penn State, 13-10, to improve to 17-0 on the season.
The Terrapins are trailed by a pair of teams tied at No. 2 this week in former ACC foes North Carolina and Syracuse. While the Tar Heels remain in the No. 2 spot, Syracuse makes the jump from No. 7 last week after topping then-ranked No. 3 Boston College, No. 4 Duke and No. 2 UNC in the ACC Tournament en route to the program’s first ACC title.
