Loyola-Syracuse Women's Lacrosse Regular-Season Finale Moved To Syracuse (Loyola)

The Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team's regular-season finale against ACC Champion Syracuse has been moved to Upstate New York. The game will now be played Saturday at 1 p.m., at the SU Soccer Stadium.

Out of an abundance of caution, Loyola head coach Jen Adams and Syracuse head coach Gary Gait - who coached Adams at Maryland from 1998-01 - mutually decided it would be in the best interest of both teams to move the game to Syracuse.

Orange Hosts Loyola in Regular-Season Finale (Cuse.com)

No. 3/2 Syracuse closes out the regular season on Saturday, May 2 when it hosts No. 16/14 Loyola. Opening draw at the SU Soccer Stadium is set for 1 p.m. Admission is free of charge.

Normal home games are in the Dome.

Yes, they normally play in the Dome. Tomorrow being in the soccer stadium may have something to do with the game being moved from Loyola to Syracuse because of the unrest. Next week, they will host an NCAA game. It will be in the soccer stadium because they can't clear the Dome out in time after graduation.

Just awful performance. If your head isn't in the game, you can't focus. If you can't focus, you make stupid mistakes...and you lose.

I hope they didn't cost themselves a top 4 seeding in the NCAA tournament.
