Visiting WMU this weekend with my boy

Hampton Inn. good place. 10 minute drive to campus. (Game day traffic?)

Tap Room - in Portage .- good wings and beer selection. 4 TVs over the bar.

Bravo restaurant - stay away. My 17 YO did not finished the one person pizza. Pasta sauce very sweet. No complimentary salad with my dinner. (Lasagna.)

Flew into Chicago. Easy 2 hour drive (all highway).

Train tracks run right by school. Unsure where station is.

The Amtrak station is just a couple blocks west of Bell's Eccentric Cafe (Bell's Brewery) and a block and a half north of downtown K-Zoo.

I would walk it from there -- Waldo Stadium is about 2 miles from the train station -- but I realize a fair number of people think a half block is too far to walk. On the other hand, if I was carrying 80 pounds of food, drink and miscellaneous tailgating gear I think I'd Uber/Lyft it from the depot.
