Any know of a good reporter for WMU football? I’ve been looking but I can’t even find one. I like to follow along with them through game week to keep up with injuries on their end heading into Saturday. If not I guess I’ll make an account on their board and see if they can point me in the right direction.

Great interview. It sounds like SU is doing the rights things preparing for games. He’s coming from an SEC team, so he’s used to playing against the best. I feel this is a Dino’s best staff since he’s been here. They are definitely being coached up.

Wes Hoeh commited at least one penalty in darn near every game last year. Nothing changed because there was no accountability. Some people are able to self correct, others need some help from the coaches. A brief pull from the game to talk to the player is far from silly unless you have no clue how to handle people. Sometimes they need a kick in the pants other times it’s a pep talk. Good coaches know how to pull the strings.

Yeah, yanking a guy is going to have more of an effect than talking to them after a possession or in film review or the next week’s practice.
