Don't know if anyone had seen this or if it was posted yet. This "writer" mentions only one weekend in NYC with what I thought was a weak NIT field. Then compares the NIT attendance t0 the attendance of the Michigan St./Duke and Kentucky/Kansas doubleheader.

I know this was only written by a contributer and any one of us could write an article on yahoo, but I thought it should be posted anyways.

And how the heck do I get rid of this poll option? First time trying to start a new thread.

LOL, what an idiot. The preseason NIT is always more than half empty cuz its thanksgiving week, everyone is away! When cuse is in the coaches vs classic or jimmy v classic at msg they always get big crowds.

1) I'm always suspicious when somebody tells me right off that they're a fan of team X, when the rest of the article is negative about team X. So I'm doubting he's a Syracuse fan. That is in part because...

2) When I'm in NYC with a Cuse hat on, inevitably at least one time and usually multiple times random people will start talking to me about the Orange. If he's failing to run into those same folks, the only explanation is he's not trying. Possibly because the Rutgers hat on his head fools people into thinking he's a Rutgers fan and not a Syracuse fan.

3) The only evidence he has of low support is the NIT - but rather than compare attendance to prior year's NITs, he makes invalid comparisons to other events. Additionally he has clearly never been to a St John's "home" game against Syracuse.

My verdict: either a Rutgers fan, or an imbecile. Most likely both (although that is probably redundant).
