I saw a team last night that couldn't shoot, took ridiculously stupid off-balance 3's with 27 seconds left in the shot clock, and got manhandled by a team that was barely over 500. 
And while I'm sure the officiating wasn't as one sided as I think it was, there's a reason why the ESPN broadcasts have commented on some of the awful calls that have gone against us.

The cooley 20 second bailout could and the offensive foul on scoop were two of the most hilarious calls I've ever seen. The Big East should be embarrassed. These go beyond missed moving screens or other judgment calls and I don't know how these referees miss calls that blatant.

With everything that went wrong, I also saw a team that clawed its way back into a game. It never seemed to give up. The fact that they still had a shot, albeit a long one, is fairly amazing. Unlike myself, the team and coaching staff never quit on this game. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm encouraged for Monday and can't wait to see how the team responds.

And if the worst happens, they will learn how to play without Fab and I'm glad he's gone now rather than March.
